All garage door servicesNoisy, shaking or jerky door? Worn rollers and bent or loose tracks are usually why. We fix them before the door comes off its track.

Rollers carry the door; tracks steer it. Most noise and shaking starts with one of the two.
The track runs up beside the opening, curves through the radius section, then runs along the ceiling. Every roller passes the curve on every cycle, so that’s where worn rollers and misalignment show up first.
In Orlando, daily heat expansion and cooling slowly work brackets loose and pull tracks out of line, so we check alignment on every visit.

Call (689) 400-1172Worn rollers are the most common cause, especially old steel rollers without sealed bearings. Loose hardware, dry hinges and dirty or bent tracks add to it. Quieter nylon rollers with sealed bearings make a big difference.
No. Grease on the tracks collects dirt and makes rollers slide instead of roll. Keep the tracks clean and dry, and lubricate the roller bearings and hinges instead.
Minor bends can often be straightened and the track realigned. A badly bent or kinked section, usually from a car or impact, should be replaced so the rollers can’t jump out.
It depends on the roller type and how often the door runs. Replace them when they’re cracked, wobbling, flat-spotted or noisy even after lubrication, and always check them during a spring or cable repair.
It’s a warning sign. Shaking usually means worn rollers, loose brackets or a misaligned track, and left alone it can end with the door coming off its track.
We’ll find what’s wearing, fix it on the spot in most cases and leave the door running smooth and quiet.
